I’ve written a poem to commemorate the Lost finale this Sunday because I’m a giant geek, and that’s how I roll. I hope you like it, enjoy! :D
WARNING: THE FOLLOWING POST CONTAINS SPOILERS FROM THE LATEST EPISODE OF LOST.
After the jump: Mini-recap, questions, theories, and predictions!
By the way, my recap for this episode will be up Friday instead of Sunday for obvious reasons! Also, I will be splitting the finale into TWO recaps because it’s so long!
Stay tuned tomorrow, I’m going to be posting a something special I’ve been working on :D
How will the most crazed Lost fans handle their favorite show going off the air forever? My own local hometown heroes Matt and Dave of Animosity Pierre (which you may remember from such films as LOST in Five Minutes and Previously on Lost) have made a new video showing one fan’s hilarious descent into madness.
This week on Lost, we meet Jacob and Smokey’s mother(s), we sneak a peek into the heart of the island, and we see how to turn a man into a monster in one easy step.
Did you hear George Lucas sent a letter to Damon and Carlton?
George Lucas’ letter:
Congratulations on pulling off an amazing show. Don’t tell anyone … but when ‘Star Wars’ first came out, I didn’t know where it was going either. The trick is to pretend you’ve planned the whole thing out in advance. Throw in some father issues and references to other stories — let’s call them homages — and you’ve got a series.
In six seasons, you’ve managed to span both time and space, and I don’t think I’m alone in saying that I never saw what was around the corner. Now that it’s all coming to an end, it’s impressive to see how much was planned out in advance and how neatly you’ve wrapped up everything. You’ve created something really special. I’m sad that the series is ending, but I look forward to seeing what you two are going to do next.
Damon’s response to George Lucas:
I apologize for everything I said about the prequels.
Damon’s Twitter response:
George Lucas’ letter to us made me feel like I was staring into the twin suns of Tatooine all over again. My life is complete.
