There was a time when we didn&#8217;t know how Locke ended up in a wheelchair, or what was in the hatch.  There was also a time when time travel wasn&#8217;t a piece of the puzzle.  But now, at the beginning of the end (sigh), what are the questions that <em>need<\/em> to be answered before the series finale?  I&#8217;ve compiled a list of my most burning questions, and some not-so-burning questions that I&#8217;d love to find out answers to nonetheless.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\n<\/center><br \/>\nIn no particular order&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<strong>Need-to-Knows<\/strong><\/p>\n<li>What is the deal with Jacob and his enemy?  Why did Jacob visit each of the Losties in their pasts?  How did the enemy impersonate Locke?  Why did Jacob write his lists? And what the hell did he mean when he said &#8220;It only ends once. Anything that happens before that is just progress?&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>What&#8217;s the deal with the Smoke Monster?  Is it sentient?  Does someone control it?  What&#8217;s its purpose?  Is it the cause of all the creepy hallucinations on The Island?\n<li>What&#8217;s the deal with Richard?  Why doesn&#8217;t he age, and how long has he been on The Island?\n<li>What&#8217;s the deal with Ilana and her people?\n<li>What&#8217;s the deal with Christian?  Is that really him on The Island, hanging out with Claire and\/or Sun and Frank?\n<li>Is Ben essentially good or evil?  What happened to him when Richard brought him to The Temple as a child?\n<li>Is the inability of women to give birth on The Island due to the Incident?\n<li>How does the Black Rock fit into the picture?  What&#8217;s its significance?\n<li> What are the whispers in the jungle?\n<li>What&#8217;s the magnetic anomaly that created the Hot Pocket of energy inside The Island?  Does the anomaly give The Island its magical healing powers?\n<li>How does the Frozen Donkey Wheel work?  Who put it there?\n<li>Why Locke? Is he really a Chosen One, or just a pawn in some kind of game he never knew anything about?  How\/why did Abaddon suggest the Walkabout to Locke?\n<li>Why did the Hostiles decide to wipe out the Dharma Initiative?\n<li>Who built the 4-toed statue, and when?\n<li>Is Hurley crazy, or is he really talking to dead people?  Or is that just The Island communicating with him somehow, like Mr. Eko and Yemi?\n<li>How is it that each of the Losties were somehow connected to one another in their pre-Island lives?<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<strong>Nice-to-knows:<\/strong><\/p>\n<li>What did The Others want with Walt?  What makes him &#8220;special?&#8221;\n<li>Was there really a &#8220;sickness&#8221; on The Island? Is this what sent Danielle&#8217;s team to Crazytown?<br \/>\n<LI>What about Libby?  What&#8217;s her story?<\/p>\n<li>What happened to Desmond when the hatch imploded?  Was he really sent back in time?  And how did that make him psychic?  Did Widmore know what was going to happen to Desmond?\n<li>What happened to Ben&#8217;s childhood friend Annie?\n<li>Who are the &#8220;Adam and Eve&#8221; the Losties found in the caves?\n<li>How come Patchy was so hard to kill?\n<li>How&#8217;d Hurley get his nickname?\n<li>Do the Numbers actually mean anything?  Or were they just a coincidence?\n<li>What was all that &#8220;Magic Box&#8221; stuff Ben was talking about?\n<li>How did Desmond end up in military prison?\n<li>Who is Alvar Hanso?  What&#8217;s his deal?<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<p>What are <em>YOUR<\/em> most burning questions, dear readers?<\/p>\n<p>Did the H-bomb turn back time!?<br \/>\nWill anyone remember the crash if the bomb DID turn back time!?<br \/>\nWill the Losties live happily ever after!?<br \/>\nWill Jack ever stop crying!?<\/p>\n<p>FIND OUT TONIGHT!
