Jim: It’s time for our first quarter camaraderie event! So pack a swimsuit, a toothbrush, rubber-soled shoes, and a ski mask.

Jim: So that he can have us rob a bank, and then escape through the sewers.
Pam: And brush our teeth!
(Booze Cruise)

27. Jim: I dare you to make an announcement.

(The Client)

11. Which one is Jim? (Sexual Harassment)

10. Jim, I called off my wedding because of you. And now we’re not even friends. And things are just like weird between us, and that sucks. And I miss you. But the truth is, I didn’t care about any of those reasons until I met you. (Beach Games)

9.. Jim: Uh … not a bad day. (Diversity Day)

8. Pam: What time is it there?

(The Return)

4. Pam: Jim’s just really passionate about Italian food.
Jim: Yep. I’m very passionate about Italian food. In fact, um, I’m in love with Italian food.

3. Pam: I haven’t heard anything. But I bet Jim got the job. I mean, why wouldn’t he? He’s totally qualified, and smart, everyone loves him. And if he never comes back again, that’s okay. We’re friends. And I’m sure we’ll stay friends. We just … we never got the timing right. You know? I shot him down, and then he did the same to me, but you know what? It’s okay. I am totally fine. Everything is going to be totally …
Jim: Pam. Sorry. Um, are you free for dinner tonight?

Pam: Yes.
Jim: All right. Then it’s a date.
Pam: I’m sorry, what was the question?
(The Job)

2. Jim: I was just, um… I’m in love with you.
Pam: What?
Jim: I’m really sorry if that’s weird for you to hear, but I needed you to hear it. Probably not good timing, I know that, I just—
Pam: What are you doing? What do you expect me to say to that?
Jim: I just needed you to know. Once.
Pam: Well, I, um—I can’t.
Jim: Yeah.
Pam: You have no idea—
Jim: Don’t do that.
Pam: —what your friendship means to me.
Jim: Come on. I don’t want to do that. I want to be more than that.
Pam: I can’t. I’m really sorry if you misinterpreted things. It’s probably my fault.
Jim: Not your fault. I’m sorry I misinterpreted our friendship.

  • Siobhan says:

You missed Jim’s embarrassment over having a Second Life build :D

  • OMG RACHEL. Yesterday i was JUST rewatching season 2 on dvd and when I got to the end of Casino Night I fucking squeed as if I hadn’t seen it before because I’m a loser, haha. I wasn’t feeling the Jam love lately, but after last week’s episode I kinda had to, you know.

Number 20 is one of my all-time favorite moments. I love that. And I think I should mention that bittersweeet bit at the end of The fight, I think, where Jim leaves the bag of chips on Pam’s desk before leaving. <3

    PPS. I haven’t seen BSG yet. ;__;

  • gabsy says:

Man, I’m not much more eloquent here, am I?

  • This is totally amazing. Like, wow. Is it possible for there to be a better TV couple ever in the history of the world? THANK YOU, this made studying for finals way more enjoyable.

  • Rowan says:

You pretty much covered everything. Well done, my friend.

  • Fry says:

I love #9 so much. Great list. HAPPY SIGH.

  • Cynthia says:

    *cries a little*

  • Carly says:

I think my favorite is when they’re in the parking lot swaying and that travis song is playing… brrruppppp!!!!!!

and my other favorite is the basketball scene (#30)

and my OTHER favorite is when he lifts her up at the karate match

and my OTHER favorite is when they talk about dental hydroplosion

  • aimtomiss says:

OH PAM AND JIM. My heart is feeling pangs, going through all these. That’s what they do to me! They are too adorable.

  • lilbabiangel888 says:

God seeing all of these listed like this is just incredible. It makes Jim and Pam together seem SO EPIC. And of course, they are :DDD

    This is sooo FTW

  • Nicole says:

*sigh* I feel all squishy inside. <3

  • sarcastress says:

That was such a great list! I loved reliving all those moments between Jim & Pam. Sigh! But I do have to say that Jim’s confession of love in Casino Night always makes me sad. I rewatched it just a couple of weeks ago, and it hit me right in the grief bone all over again. Poor sad Jim!

  • Snuffkin says:

They are the bestest OTP ever! <3

  • I think my new favorite is in “The Chair Model” when he gets down on one knee and asks Pam, “will you wait for me to tie my shoe?”

  • hucks says:

excellent! i agree with every moment :)

  • Kim says:

    AWW! I love this.

  • Emily says:

I love them all. It makes me squee with happiness!
    And they are finally together!

  • Char says:

Jim and Pam feel like the most realistic couple on TV. I love them.

  • sara says:

what about when he dips on one knee?! “hey pam, will you wait for me… while i tie my shoe?”

  • AH! I am SO in love with JAM right now. Especially pre-JAM, when you could totally tell that something was going to happen between them.

We definitely need more “Jim”s in this world

BTW: You totally got one of my fave JAM moments that nobody really mentions on their top __ lists. (#11. Pam is all embarrassed and Jim practically squeed on the inside!)

  • Chris says:

I’m surprised the moment when Pam and Jim got fast food listening to Hunter’s CD would be there. I thought that was classic JAM

  • Jenn says:

Aw, such a sweet and fun post! I love Jim & Pam.

  • Chris says:

I am tearing up, and I thought I was completely over my JAM. Their second season apart/together was the best. I love them. They overcame many obstacles for their Italian food love. :D

  • Anonymous says:

This is a really great post. I’d have to spend time pondering my top Jam moments but yours are great. They totally moved me just now!

  • diana says:

awesome list. I pretty much agree with everything you listed.

  • Heather says:

    GREAT post! Loved it.

  • Anonymous says:

Awesome list! Now I feel all tingly inside. LOVE these two. :D

  • Rachna says:

What I love about this is that you’ve skipped trying to seem like you could even begin to narrow things down – straight to 30! :P

Anyway, I love this list, and I agree fully. Oh, my heart.

  • Nod says:

AWESOME. Casino night is definitely my #1 too.

  • Aquasheep says:

Thank you for that. You just made me squee out loud in my office. I’m embarrassed, but so happy!

I almost forgot how much I love Jam. My heart is joyous. ;)

  • kate1976 says:

Hee I have just done my own JAM post although I am way behind as I am in the UK so I have just done it in chronological order up to during Season 2 – I can’t wait to see all the rest!!!!

  • jessi says:

Perfect list. Perfect. I’m all misty-eyed.

  • drew says:

Number 4–The look on Jim’s face as he’s consoling Dwight by rehashing the ups and downs of his love for Pam–priceless. Good kiss–I think he curled her toes.

  • colleeny says:

i luv it!i just squeeked really loud and evryones staring at me wiered. worth it!

  • Amy says:

One of the sweetest Jim and Pam moments I can think of is in “did i stutter?” where Pam couldn’t see (no contacts) and Jim lead her out of the office. A close 2nd in the same episode is when Pam says she has to wear her glasses because she spent the night at a “friends” house. :)

  • Amy says:

They also better get engaged.. now that their together I don’t think I could stand seeing them break up!

  • riley says:

Picture this: Jim gets the new corporate job in New York after Ryan’s departure. JAM lives together engaged and planning the rest of their lives together in fabulous New York, and Pam gets a great job at some swanky outfit doing graphic design. Only rarely do JAM come into contact with the group from Scranton, 2 hours away. Oh, and here’s the big twist – No one watches.

I really hate these two now.

  • anastasia says:

    Jim: Hey, pam…
will you wait for me one second
    while i tie my shoe?

    Pam: I hate you.

Jim: What? My shoe was untied! What is your problem? Ohh… you thought…

    (chair model)

  • emily says:

jim: So what’d he say? Was it my fault?
    Pam: Yeah….

Pam: He said that you told him how much you love me. About how you feel when I walk in a room. And about how you’ve never doubted for a second that I’m the woman you want to spend the rest of your life with.

Pam: I guess he’s never felt that with my mom even at their best.
    Jim: You ok?
    Pam: Yeah

Pam : When you;re a kid you assume your parents are soul mates, My kids are going to be right about that.

  • Annie says:

Jim: “Oh, Dwight, we’re close! Just buy us a few more minutes… Well, they just called me in for an update, so I’ll call you right back… Okay… Okay, great.”

Jim: “Hey, Dwight? uh… send in the subs!”

    (Company Picnic)

I can’t wait until next season!

  • Sheema says:

This is such a great post!

  • Anonymous says:

    the air high five

  • Me says:

My favorite was in “The Job” where Jim is being interviewed and then you can just tell by the look in his eyes that he’s thinking of Pam and he finds the note that says “Don’t forget us when your famous.” I love them.

  • kt says:

I love them! They are my favorite TV couple ever!! They are so perfect! Oh and i also like the air high five that they do :)

  • Anonymous says:

  • Anonymous says:

Don’t forget the proposal in the rain…it looked like the Jersey Turnpike. No words were needed; only the rain.

  • Anonymous says:

Also, love how in Did I stutter? Pam thinks Jims gonna propose but he’s just kidding and wants coffee not the cutest but deff cute

  • megan says:

in the episode with the purse sales woman, pam is caught by the cameras putting lipstick on

  • Anonymous says:

thank God , I’m not the only hopless romantic :D
